Ankle injury at growth plate takes some time till recovery even after removal of cast. Another pain triggering factor could be the 165 pounds weight borne by those growth plates of ankle. It is childhood obesity and more morbid compared to adult one. Eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly to reduce weight.
Nutshell, this pain on motion will persist for a while. Just continue physiotherapy exercises, range of mobility exercises, take painkillers for that and consider losing weight at any cost to prevent more injuries in future.
